Profile
I’m a native of Northern California but currently attend university in Boston. I am a part of Northeastern University’s Class of 2025, studying graphic design and psychology in the College of Arts, Media, and Design. When not creating something, I’m likely outside skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding or soaking up the sun. I love all creative pursuits, so I’m a painter and photographer between study sessions.
Experience
Along with studying Graphic Design and Psychology, I also work on Scout, Northeastern’s very own student-run design studio. I am Scout's Media Director, through which I manage our team of 13 as we create visual assets for clients, Scout Studio teams, Northeastern's College of Arts Media and Design + more. Previously, I worked at Green Line Records, as their social media manager. I worked to create a cohesive brand image, make posts, and outsource any necessary asset creation. I later applied this knowledge to my six month co-op on ServiceNow's Organic Social Media Team. My time with ServiceNow included managing our employee advocacy platform, weekly reports on social trends and updates, and content creation for our TikTok, Instagram and Twitter.
History
I’ve been a creator since I was a kid. I’ve always loved learning to do different things, whether painting, woodworking, or mountain biking; I wanted to try it. I was taught to follow my nose and do what I love. Growing up in this environment allowed me to figure out who I was. When I got to high school, I’d tried every sport and creative expression possible but never felt like something was “me.” I attended an alternative high school called Design Tech High School in Redwood City, California. D.tech was a design-thinking-centered high school. During my time at d.tech, I fell in love with design and the capability to help people through design. My creative explorer side never disappeared, so I used all the opportunities that d.tech offered to try every single type of design possible. I fell in love with product design, 3D design, graphic design, UX/UI design, and more. Now, in college, I want to continue to further my skills in every type of design I can try. I want to be a designer who can do some of everything; I know that’s who I’ll become.
